What is your job title?
What does that mean?
I am front of house and also do things like prep mushy peas, curry sauce etc.
Where are you from?
I am from London but have lived in Exmouth for around 9 years now.
How long have you been working for Krispies?
Since January 2017
What did you do before you worked at Krispies?
All sorts of things including doing security for celebrity signings, store detective and office work.
Why did you want to work at Krispies?
I had been coming here for years, when I saw a job available I didn’t think twice as I needed a job but I also wanted to try something new. This is a whole new experience for me and really gives me something to get my teeth into – with a new job you learn new things.
What is the best thing about your job?
I am a people person so working face to face with the customers is the best thing. Training is also good here and all the staff like a little family.
What does winning From Field to Fryer mean to you?
It is great that we won and great to mention it to both customers and friends – this is not just any old chippy!
What’s your favourite thing on Krispies menu?
Salt and Pepper Squid

Who are your favourite sports team or band?
Love music, all different kinds from house to sole and reggae
What is your favourite thing to do with a lazy, sunny afternoon?
I moved to Exmouth to be nearer my grandchildren – I have two grandkids with a third on the way. I love the sunshine so will take the kids and the dog down to the beach or I will even go on my own.
What makes Krispies different from other take aways?
The food is clean, fresh and cooked to order. The team are always warm and friendly. The shop is clean so you don’t have to think twice about buying food here.
