Tim and Kelly Barnes have been working in Fish & Chips since their teens, opening their first shop in Exmouth in 2000. Since the very beginning their goal was clear – to serve customers the very best Fish & Chips possible – and excellent food and customer service have remained their focus ever since.

Fabulous Food
Krispies believe the quality is in the detail. We source all our product with meticulous care and when we can’t find something that comes up to our exacting standards we make our own.

 

Fish

Our fish is caught from sustainable stocks in the freezing waters of the Barents Sea and is frozen within a couple of hours of being landed to lock in all the freshness.

Potatoes

It’s not any old spud that can make a Krispies chip. We select our potatoes from a short list of English farms, testing each and every delivery to ensure they are of good enough quality.

Batter

We are so particular about what we want from a batter, not just for our fish but also our famous battered chips, we have it made for Krispies. You simply won’t get batter like it anywhere else.

Freshness
Our chips are hand cut daily in our stores, all our food is cooked to order. We treat our precious ingredients with the respect it deserves.
